How to change black and a bit grey hair to platinum?

I am 45 year old woman with black and 40% grey hair. I am coloring my hair almost every 2 weeks in order to keep the roots showing.How can I change my hair to platinum? I think silver is the most beautiful color for me when I get older. A lot of my friends are not into grey hair. They think I will look really old if I change my hair color to platinum. Help me, don't anyone think silver is beautiful anymore? I remember seeing many French royal wore grey wigs even for the children. I asked some experts, They don't know how to do it because no one wants grey. Please, help me before I turn 46 in Oct.
