Grey hair can be caused by genes, stress or diet. Grey hair by genes seems to produce the most % of grey hair compared to the other 2 factors.

For diet, take more vegetables and fruits or rather, do not be choosey and fussy on food.

depends. it could be hereditary. lacking vitamins make the hair dry and brittle, not gray. the vitamin-lacking thingie only happens to those with old age, not because they lack vitamins but because their hair's ability to absorb vitamins has lessened, thus the hair melanin (which makes hair black) also lessens.

It makes men and women look older than they are. That's OK for younger people trying to look older but the kiss of senior citizenism (not a word?) for most 40 somethings. I've known women who are prematurely gray and they don't get much attention but when they color it everyone says wow you look so much younger. As long as you can pull it off and you are comfortable being blond I see no reason not to look as good as you feel. At the same time if you don't mind looking your age and to have a more carefree hair style which alot of older women do why not? Probably being a slave to fashion all these years, it might be a pleasant change. I should think women your age would love to have the choices you have.

No it is not true. It is the pigment in your hair that turns the color. and if you have dark hair then you will probably find it sooner. I found gray in mine when i was 9. and i pull them out all the time.

Sometimes, old wives tales are true whether you wanna believe or not.....from most of my own experience and more around me do have more grey hair once u start pulling them out. My nine year old daughter has one too and i'm not gonna pull it out either. So far there's still only one for almost a year now.....i don't really know the actual logic to this but if you only have one.....just let it be.....it's not gonna make u less pretty anyway.

yes part of that is true. if u pull out that one gray hair then two more will grow in that place and if you pull those out then four more will grow in that place and so on. i suggest you go to the store and get some hair dye that's your natural color or whatever color that's in your hair and dye it to make it blend in with the rest of your hair.

Your hair can only regrow so many times brown, each time it comes closre and closer to grey, because the pigment gets used up in that folicle. Pulling it out would make it more grey, but very very slowly, you would not notice it.

You will just have to use a semi-permanent of permanent haircolour, sorry but i should know i have had greying hair since i was in my late twenties!! I would suggest though if you can afford it to go to a hairdressers once every three months and get it coloured professionally and get a good trim!
