What apart from changing the colour can a lass do to enhance her 100% grey hair? It looks quite nice but I would like to brighten it up. Please no rude remarks or suggestions of blue rinses.

I think grey hair can look lovely if its in good condition. If you don't really want to change the colour then I suggest you get an intensive shine conditioner which makes hair look great, whatever colour it is! I think you can get specific shampoo %26amp; conditioner for 100% grey hair to brighten it up.

Ive just had a look on the Boots website, and they do their own range called Boots Specialist Greying Hair.

Highlights? I suppose it depends on the actual colour of the grey. Ask your hairdresser. However, if it looks nice, just leave it!

My sister has completely grey hair, and what she does, is she gets a variety of honey coloured and blonde highlights through it, which just lifts the colour. You can still see that it is grey, but it ceases to be that nasty steel-grey colour, and looks much warmer and more youthful.

Have a professional colourist apply a colour that has highlights and low lights to give a natural look.
