At what age did your hair start going grey, and what colour is/was it?

I've got dark blonde/light brown hair and I've started getting a few grey hairs at the front. I'm 39 - is that a normal age for it to happen on someone with light-coloured hair?

im 38 and started with a few grey hairs when i was 36, im a dark blond/golden browny colour and they are not really noticable look like streaks of lighter blond, dont worry about them its not the end of the world!

Going grey has nothing to do with hair color, it has everything to do with your genes. I had a friend who was completely grey before she graduated highschool.

people start getting grey hair at lots of different ages.my mom is 40 and her hair is just now going grey but my friends mom started getting grey hair when she was around 36. just buy some hair dye and then you wont even notice the grey =P

My hair is light brown and on my 21st birthday, I found my first grey hair! Considering my Grandmother (Mom's Mom) was totally grey at 40, my Mom told me I'd have beautiful grey hair one day. I didn't wanna be grey, so I had my hair frosted, but eventually went total blonde with Clairol Naurtal Blonde color. I love my haircolor and now consider myself a nautral blonde.

Im one of the unfortunate folks who get grey hair at an early age (im 16 right now noticed grey hair 2 years ago). Really sucks because it seems to be a major turn off to girls my age.
