Best dye for grey hair?

I have a few strands of grey, I used a colour on it yesterday

(Garnier 100% Colour) and it did not cover the grey at all. Am really peed off. What dye do you find the best to cover up the grey? Thanks.

I have always used Loreal I always get 100% cover,tip don't try and go back to dark hair as you get older try going lighter its doesn't show so badly

At the moment I'm using ash blonde and its coming out a light brown but gets lighter as it wears off

That's because box dyes are ****. Don't ever buy them again. Go to Sally Beauty and buy quality dyes. My favorite brands are Ion and Clairol Professional. To check graying of hair, mix lemon juice in olive oil, beat till frothy and apply on scalp and wash off after an hour. Premature graying of hair can be postponed by using a strong decotion of black tea and a tablespoon of salt, strain and apply to the roots for 45 minutes and wash with water. Don't shampoo.
