I have some but my husband has started getting them at 18yrs old now at 29 his is almost all grey.

Yes, very much so, but just because a parent has it doesn't mean their child will for sure. Sometimes it skips generations.

My father was fully grey by the time he was in his late 20's but my brother, sister , and I haven't really started to grey yet and we are all in our 30's so I am not sure if it is hereditary.

I started turning gray at age 21, so I would NOT say it is only caused by aging. My mother also turned gray early, as did my sister. The onset of gray hair at an early age is most certainly likely to be hereditary.
