I found my first gray hair at age 28 after my daughter was born. I continued to get more gray hair after that and was "salt and pepper (mostly salt)" by the time I was 40. I didn't even think about coloring my hair because I'm always told how beautiful the silver is. I keep it in a good cut and save the money. I always told my kids it was their fault. Famous phrase, "Cut that out --- you're giving me gray hair!"

well i see some 12 year olds running around with grey hair haha i swear but dont worry cuz one is nothing. the average hair, according to what ive heard multiple times, is healthy for six years. they usually just fall out before then and new ones are replaced. maybe this is your first hair this old that has stay in for a few years. i dont know that this is true but ive heard it multiple times from many different people. i hope this helps if it even makes sense haha. :)

I found two when I was 16!! No joke. Pulled them...I have noticed about 6 or so in the past three months I'll be 29 in September..I just pull them out for now.

The sooner I go completely grey the better..it's not so bad some grey haired people look good with that colour. Sean Connery etc.

I was 9! It's not actually grey its silver and is caused by a disease i have (cant remember the name) tho it causes white patches on my skin that dont have freckles - was gutted at first but then thought it was rather cool to have two tone hair colour!

32. after first one they just didn't seem to stop coming, like my head was the hottest place for grey hairs to be seen ever. Not any more, garnier has seen to that, covers the little blighters a treat!

I'm 35 and found my first one when I was about 32. - still just have the one though so don't panic yet.

That said, I went a few days without shaving a couple of weeks ago and some of the stubble came through grey - i was gutted. I've never shaved so often as i do since then.
