i am freking out i just found a grey hair and iam only 25 nobody else in my family has ever had any this early , just wondering if there is a way to prevent it or get rid of them forever .

i found my first grey hair at 25 too. while it was traumatic at the time, since then not many others have grown in. everybody's different. don't stress out about it cause its not worth it. there's no way to prevent them or get rid of them. if they really bug you, colour your hair. the best thing i can recommend is to accept it a natural part of aging. as long as you feel young at heart and are healthy, nothing else really matters!

Your going to get a grey hair or two every once in a while. I wouldn't start worrying until you see several grey hairs on your head (Maybe 20-30)

it's not abnormal, in any way shape or form. i have a sister who is older than me and she has a head filled with several strands of gray hair.

i would not panic.

just a word of caution: if you cut that strand of gray hair, it will come back. it's best to just leave it alone :)

It is normal to get a gray strand at such a young age. Just don't pull it or more will appear. You can maybe dye it but that really just covers it. Some say grey hair at a young age is from wisdom some say stress. It is how you take it.

I started greying in my mid twenties as well, and they grew in strands......so I added a few more streaks (other shades of blond) to tone it down..... If you start dying your whole head now... you will have to continue doing that regularly for the rest of your life.... lots of chemicals in your system.....

normal to get grey hair or not at 25 , I am not sure . it varies with every person. my oldest sister had grey hair at 14, my second sister had a head full of greys at 34, my brother has grey hair at 24, another sister of mine had grey at 26. So it varies. i think yours is quite average. no need to panic. luckily there are many beautiful shades of dyes out there to enhance the natural color of your hair. i wouldn't stress over it. just use more sunblocks cause melanin in your body is producing less when you have grey hair.

hey, that is perfectly normal. actually, it is genetic. ask around, likely ppl in your family (mom, aunts etc...) went grey early too. I'm 23 and have been tweezing grey hairs for years, I think I started getting them my first year of university actually, and then I found out that all my mom's sisters started going grey in their early twenties too. It might suck, but it's normal. tweeze and dye your hair, and nobody has to know!!!
