White / Grey Hair...?

Why is it that white / grey hair grow in clusters and always in the same spot as other white / grey hairs???

I am only 29, and i have, altogether 8 grey hairs... they are conspicious. recently, i noticed the newest 8th white/grey hair on the other side of the head...

Why do i get white/ grey hair?? How do we stop white / grey hair from growing???

White / Grey Hair...?

hi there! I am sorry but prior to the first post, there is nothing you can do about grey hair. People who tell you they can help or to go to a (dermatologist?! its hair u muppet!) are just plain cruel. Its the same type of myth about cellulite and stretch marks.

There are plenty of 'miracle cures' out there and none of them are proven to work. What you will get if you see a trichologist, (hair doctor for the person in the first post!) is a hefty bill and some nicesmelling products.

I am so srry there is nothing that can prevent them. This is why colouring has become such a major part of hairdressing. There were rumours of an injection coming up that may be able to give you a haircolour of your choice, but this is not proven and to be honest, sounds dangerous and extreme just for hair.

The only thing I can suggest is to start dying it.At the moment with only a few grey hairs you could always ue a semi permenant which would cover 50%-75% of grey. (in your case thats fine as its probably hardly noticeable.)

Maybe think about takin a multi-vitamin, this will help to balance your diet which is essential for healthy hair growth. If you ar having high levels of the stress hormone, this should combat it!

Please speak to a hairdresser near you. Sorry to put a damper on it! good luck xxxxxxxxx

White / Grey Hair...?

There are different types of gray hairs. One that is hereditary and one that you get from stress. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to stop hereditary grey hair from growing. If you are uncomfortable with its presence you can always have it coloured or streaked so it can blend in.

If you have grey hair as a result to stress then you have to stop stress. Also, keep up with the daily balanced fruit intake of vitamins and minerals, as well as iron, calcium and zinc. They are all very important to your hair, as hair is made by what you eat. :)

Take care.
