I'm 23 y/o and I'm getting a few grey hairs :( , I can't really do much about it, I'll probably just have to accept it. But what did you do when your first started greying? Dyeing? Leave it alone and accept it? Cut it? Oh and when did you start greying?

I read that eating yogurt helps prevent grey hair. I have always eaten yogurt since I was a young girl and is the only one in my family that hasn't greyed yet at my age.

Im 29 %26amp; we have early grey hair in our family so I started getting it @ 25. at first they were so few that Id just pluck them, but now I get a few more so I just get my hair dyed %26amp; thats exactly what I plan to keep doing!

I started to get my gray hairs in HS. My buddy pulled them out druing physic class. I just left them alone. I dont really want to hide my graying hairs by dying them. I accepted it.

Hey i am a mom of 6 children,im 30 have a ton of gray hair. I get a blonde highlight every 4 months.It blends the grays in ,it works trust me. Its better then coloring it darker cause then when your regrowth comes in you will see a line of the gray hairs and the dark color you used., Try the highlight.

I found my first grey hair at 25 and that seems to be a normal age to begin finding them. Now I'm 33 and I have more than I used to, but I'm by no means grey. So just don't panic. It's normal to begin to find them around your age.

Hmm I think I was in my mid 20's when the first few appeared - you leave it if its one or two...and when it gets out of hand you start dying it. Also it depends on what your hair color is to begin with and if you are male or female. Grey hair on a 23 year old girl - if its more than three and noticeable then I would do something about it...it will make you look much older if you leave it.

I started graying when I was 17. Oddly enough, I didn't start graying until after I started dyeing my hair. If you only have a few gray hairs you should consider yourself lucky. If it really bothers you I would recommend getting highlights in the graying area. You won't have to dye your hair as much since the gray will blend in with the lighter hair.

I started at 26 and I dramatically revamped my diet when I started reading about the links b/w grey hair and nutrition deficits. Take a multivitamin and start using semi-permanent (12-24 washes) type colorant. Herbal essences is lovely. I still just use a semi-permanent every month or so and it's pretty much held my grey in check and I'm 32 now. Good luck!

Well, decide if you like the how your hair looks with grey in it. You're 23, so probably you'll prefer to get rid of it. You have 2 options : dye it yourself, or go to a hairdresser. Going grey at an early age is a pain. You will be spending a lot of time at the hairdresser in the future, it depends on how fast your hair grows. I dye my hair every 5 weeks, and I do only the roots. It seems like 5 weeks comes so fast, and I have to dye my hair again.

I started graying around your age. There are three of us woman in the family (that I no of) that have this Grey swish thing going on.

My sister died hers(dark hair), my mother did too(dark hair), I left mine go (born white hair, turned blond when older). Why? Because god doesn't make junk... It makes us unique. Who wants to look like everyone else?

One day and it looks like it may be here soon, my hair will be all gray. At that time if I get feeling that my self esteem is hurting I may do something about it. Otherwise I ware my gray proudly!

After dyeing my hair for about 2 years, I let my hair grow back to its natural color. At 18 years old I now have a few strands of gray. They are weird too, extremely wiry and coarse. But what did I do? I ignored the saying that if you pull one out 2 more will appear, and I ripped those suckers out. Seemed to work fine, I haven't found one since then.

I started getting Gray hairs at 21! I am almost completely Gray and my hair grows at the speed of light. If I dye it one day the next week I look like a skunk! I have learned to accept it and just tell people that comment that I have earned EVERY gray hair.

My family prematurely gray's. If it is not that much yet go have Shades put on. It is by Redken. It is more like a stain than a color.There will be absolutely no line of regrowth when your hair grows. It gradually washes out, not like the ones in the supermarkets that say they wash out, this rally does. There will be no line you will just start seeing gray again. do not put real color on it cuz then you will be commited every 4 to 6 weeks.Shades has no lifting power so you can not go lighter with shades, just the same color or darker.There is also highlighting. put off coloring your whole head as long as you can. But by all means do not let it go and except it, that will take away from your looks.I am a hairdresser and my hair has been solid white since I was 26.If you have anymore questions you can email me, I am very good with color.Graying that early has nothing to do with your nutrition. It is hereditary.

I am 20 and I find gray hair all the time, my hole family had the same problem, as soon as they hit there twenties they started getting grey hair, its all to do with cells, the cell that makes the pigment that gives the color in your hair becomes less as you get older, plus stress, the foods we eat and exercise all play apart aswell, I find just putting in a hair colour always helps if i want to cover it up for awhile , there is no point in trying to cut it or pull them out as that wont do anything, the hair will just grow back and it will be grey,
