Using professional hair color has made by hair go grey?

I have colored my hair twice in the past year in a salon and have noticed recently that I have a lot of grey hair. I have been using shampoo and conditioner to preserve my hair color so I am not sure if this has anything to do with my hair going grey. Is there any way to stop my hair going grey, like using some hair oil or any other herbal products? I have a lot of grey hair and I don't want them to increase so I won't be coloring my hair in a salon or at home. I am also in my early 30's.

Thanks in advance for your help

The coloring did not make your hair turn gray. The color was covering up the fact that you have gray hair. There is nothing you can do to stop it or make it go away. I am 28 and have gray hair poping up all over. Your stuck with it unless you use the specific dye for hiding gray hair. I think it is Nice And Easy that is for gray hair.

You can not stop the gray, I color mine, I wish there was a way to stop it.

LOL...I don't think so. Haircolor does not do that. Age, sickness, and stress are the leading cause of grey hair. There is no way to stop premature greying. My suggestion is to color it, by a professional. Sorry.

Salon hair colouring lasts a long time, but they use a lot of harsh ingredients like peroxide.

Have you tried using a simple, home hair colouring system like Just For Men? It only takes 5 minutes and the results last up to 6 weeks. Its no more difficult than shampooing.
