People grow grey hair at any age it is genetic i think! I know someone who started going grey about 14 and is now my age (23) and would be fully grey if they never dyed their hair! Can happen anytime.

Yes it is normal. My mom found my first gray hair when I was 16 years old. Now I am 28 and I have more than I used too but it's not that bad. If you don't like it, dye it.

No,but it isn't unheard of either.

Gray hair is typically a result of natural aging. Pigment in the hair shaft comes from special cells at the root (base) of the hair. These cells are genetically programmed to make a certain amount of pigment (melanin) at specific ages. At some point in the aging process, these cells make less and less pigment until the hair has very little pigment. White hair has no pigment, and gray hair has some but not as much as a red, black or brown hair.

Not all hairs respond in the same way or at the same time. So the graying process usually is gradual. You can't prevent graying. Some people start graying in their 30s, and some not until their 60s. Genetics likely play a strong role in graying.

People rarely go gray overnight. If they do, it's typically due to alopecia areata. This condition causes the thicker, darker hairs to stop growing before it affects the growth of gray hairs 閳?giving the impression of graying overnight. Alopecia areata eventually causes roundish patches of hair loss or complete loss of hair on the head or body. Its cause isn't known.

Early gray is VERY common, even among 20-year olds. My friends use Just For Men which is easy to use 5-minute hair color and is cool because it "targets" the gray and blends well without having any extreme effects on all the other colored hair.

taylor hicks of american idol fame said he got his first grey hair in the fouth grade...so consider yourself lucky pal..

my hair started to grey when i was 32...it's no big deal..go to the walmarts..get some dye..put it in your hair..let it sit for 30 minutes and then wash it out..

it really isn't a big deal..could be worse ..like going bald..

speaking of going bald..you could always just shave your chest hair..it isn't a gay thing or a swimmer's thing anymore..alot of dudes who like to show off their bodies shave all sorts of parts
